Hi folks,

It has been a bit silent on the website, but we’ve been really busy.

Last winter we’ve sailed a lot in the 470, but despite a lot of training efforts we were training alone. After and during the winter we evaluated our progress and it was not as good as we hoped.

Therefore we would need more training with sparring partners and trainers, since that is simply to expensive to pay by ourselves, we’ve decided to switch classes.

After a long search we have found a very decent 49er which is our new ride!

The whole year we’ve been doing training training and more training. Next weekend we will be putting that into practice in the Dutch open Skiff cup in Bruinisse and two weeks later at the United 4 in Roompot, Hope to see you there!

In the mean time we’ve developed some winter plans. Untill half November we will be training with the 49er and 29er class in Medemblik after which we move to Muiden for the yearly Winter Grand Prix with www.Sail24.nl.

If the budget allows us, we will try to survive the winter in more southern regions, if not we’ll need to find ourselves some thick wetsuits! We’re looking forward to the second part of the season.
