Hi all,

Last few weeks we’ve been training at the Batavia Sailing Center, an awesome spot in becoming with some nice facilities for dinghies..

Unfortunately we didn’t have a lot of wind yet (or 35 + knots) so were hoping for some more breeze since we’re looking for some nice action!

Luckily for us we had a lot of wind in the training yesterday, thanks Jelte and Ilse for stepping in the rib last minute! We trained on the set’s and drops mostly but thanks to Dorien and Timo we we’re also able to test our speed.
As you can see on the pictures the weather was awesome, 25 knots and sun, who thought tat could happen in the Netherlands in October…
Next weekend we will take a short brake because we both have exams coming up, however the gym and core stability sessions will continue.

We will be back in the boat at 9 and 10 November with Johannes Buitenhuis as trainer!
The weekend after that we’ll do some training by ourselves and the 23th + 24th we will have 470 expert! Now we’re making plans for a winter in the more southern parts of the Europe.
